• Head & Torso Probe (with EXCLUSIVE eye bolt attachments):
  When our exclusive eye bolts are attached to the probes you can use our EXCLUSIVE pull gauge (50 lbf. gauge) to test for all of the head entrapments, including the flexible ones! Unique design allows use of the pull gauge. (See ASTM Section 6.1 and CPSC Section 3.3.1 and Appendix "B")
• Pull gauge:
  Attaches to the eye bolts on the Head and Torso Probes to check for entrapments in "non-rigid openings" of components such as nets, enclosed "tot" seats, pipes that flex, etc. INCLUDES maximum force indicator. (See ASTM Section 6.1.2.1 and CPSC Appendix B.2.5.5).
• Projection Gauges:
  Set of four, to test for protrusions and certain entanglements. (See ASTM Section 6.3 and CPSC Section 3.2 and Appendix "B")
• Partially-Bounded Opening Template ("fish probe"):
  Check for special head & neck entrapments. (See ASTM Section 6.1.4 and CPSC Section 3.3.2 and Appendix "B")
• 30" Slide Radius & Length Gauge:
  Quickly checks slide exit regions for proper radius of curvature and length. (See ASTM Sections 8.5.5.1, 8.5.5.4 and Figure A1.25).
• Handgrip Template:
  Easily verifies the minimum and maximum outside diameter of handgripping components (.95"-1.55" o.d.) and Sliding Poles (max. 1.90" o.d.).
• Neoprene (rubber) Rods:
  The only kind that are acceptable to check for crush and shear points. The rods are 3/16", 5/16", and 5/8". ASTM requires a 50-60 Durometer hardness rating for testing. (See ASTM Sections 6.5, 8.9.2.1 and 8.9.3, and CPSC Sections 3.1 and 5.3.4). DON'T USE HARD RODS LIKE WOODEN DOWELS or STEEL BOLTS!
• Gap Gauges:
  These are exactly .04" to check openings in S-hooks, clevises, etc. Get one FREE extra gauge! Easy to use! Gauge also hooks onto the end of a tape measure for those out of reach openings! (See ASTM Section 6.4.5 and Figure A1.19, and CPSC Sections 2.5.2, 3.2 and 5.3.8.1).
• Angle Finder/Level:
  Checks slide slopes, 55 degree entrapment angles, items that must be +/- X degrees from horizontal, etc. (as required by ASTM & CPSC).
• Line Level:
  For measuring swing heights from the point where the surfacing level should be (not from a pit or a depression). Also saves on surfacing and shortens use zones by showing true heights. See instructions with kit.

Articulate Web Stop Probe and 25' Tape Measure (both sold separately)

• Articulated Web Stop Probe:

  Allows the .04" Gap Gauge to hook onto the end for those out of reach hooks! The 25' long tape measure features a lock and smooth return. Brand may vary. Sold separately from the kits.

In the contiguous United States, shipping and handling is $35.00 for one "complete" 11-Piece Kit or one "Partial" Kit, $25.00 for one "Upgrade" Kit, to be shipped via regular ground. Rates may be more for rural or residential locations. For two or more kits, special deliveries, etc., please call or email us for a quote. Outside of the contiguous United States, please call or email us for shipping and handling costs.

Strangulation Warning Labels (specify English or Spanish) : (3.75" x 3.75") This label will inform, warn, and educate about the hazard of a user being strangled on the playground and what steps to take to mitigate it, and provides graphics for complete message clarity. See CPSC Section 3.2.1, pages 14 and 15, and ASTM F1487-17 Section 14.2.3. Note: CPSC says to place this label on/near “slides or other equipment”, however, entrances to the entire play area are the best locations so that the “message is seen and conveyed” in a timely manner.

"Hot Surface" Warning Labels (specify English or Spanish): (2.5" x 2.5") This label warns the caregiver about the hazard of burn injuries and to check surfacing and/or equipment before use to mitigate burn injuries. See CPSC Sections 2.1, 2.4.2.1, 2.5.3, 5.3.6, and ASTM F1487-17 Section 14.2.4.

This label will inform, warn, and educate about the hazard of play equipment located over hard surfaces. The purpose of this label is to serve as a constant reminder to provide and maintain appropriate surfacing and for Supervisors to alert Owners if a hard surface is exposed.

"Adult Supervision Is Recommended" Labels (specify English or Spanish): (2.5" x 2.5") tells users and caregivers that the playground is not intended as a place for unsupervised play. See CPSC Sections 1.6, 2.2.7, and the ASTM F1487 “Introduction” and Section 14.2.2.

Age Group Labels (specify English or Spanish): (2.5" x 2.5" each) helps with age separation, which is critical to safety and correct inspection evaluations! CPSC Section 2.2.6 says "Labels posted in the playground area or on the equipment should give some guidance to supervisors as to the age appropriateness of the equipment." Also, CPSC Section 2.2.7 says "Supervisors should look for posted signs indicating the appropriate age of the users and direct children to equipment appropriate for their age.". See ASTM Standard F1487 Section 5.2 and Section 14.2.1 that requires these labels as well.

Tot Seat Labels (specify English or Spanish): (2.5" x 2.5") says "Tot Seats for use by children under 4 years of age, with adult assistance" (per CPSC) and tells users and supervisors the appropriate ages for tot seats. It will reduce wear and tear, breakage, misuse, and injuries from users who are too old to use it. CPSC Section 2.2.6 says "Labels posted in the playground area or on the equipment should give some guidance to supervisors as to the age appropriateness of the equipment." Also, CPSC Section 2.2.7 says "Supervisors should look for posted signs indicating the appropriate age of the users and direct children to equipment appropriate for their age." See CPSC Sections 2.2.6, 2.2.7, and 5.3.8.3.2. See ASTM Standard F1487 Section 14.2.1 as well.

Surfacing Level Marker Labels (specify English or Spanish): (2.5" x 2.5") allow maintenance people, supervisors, and users to quickly and easily check the support posts for the proper amount of loose fill surfacing depth. If the surfacing is below the marker, it's time to fluff it up or add more surfacing (IF condition of surfacing allows). See CPSC Sections 2.4.2.2(4) and 4.3.

Self-Stick Warning and Information Labels Conform To The Following:

• ASTM #F1487-17 Standards regarding signs & labels!
• CPSC Guidelines #325 (2010 version).
• ANSI Standards (Z535 series) for warning and information labels in recreation settings.
• APPLICABLE LAWS. With signs and labels being suggested in the CPSC Guidelines and ASTM Standards, it then makes it not only law to follow (where the rules have been adopted into law), but also the "Standard of Care" to provide them for the safety of the children. Lack of signs or labels have been enough of a basis for MANY lawsuits!

  NOTE: CPSC Section 2.2.7 says "Supervisors should look for posted signs indicating the appropriate age of the users". Posting a sign or label is the ONLY way the "message is conveyed " to all people on the playground.
